Newest Pics of the boy!

Sorry they're a little blurry.

Newest Update

Well for the past few months we have been living with Mike's parents trying desperately to pay down some bills we were very behind on. Now we can breathe a little easier and Christmas is coming soon.  I can't believe this year is over already! I haven't put recent pics up for a long time so I will post some today. I am still working at Kolob and finishing up my paperwork to enter the Air Force with my Nursing Degree in March.  I have to have all of my paperwork in by Dec. 29th then the nursing board will meet halfway through january and I should hear their decision mid february.  I will be leaving for training for four weeks March 10th through April 10 if everything is a go. Then Mike and the kids will meet me in California at my first duty station. That's the plan so far and hopefully all goes according to that plan.
The kids are excited for a change and they are excited to be so close to the beach to visit anytime they want to. The only thing that turns me off about the whole thing is having to leave my family for 4 weeks.  I'm not really worried about Mike and James and Kasey, sure they'll miss me but the one I'm really worried about is Jonathan. He is so young and I don't want him to forget his mommy.  It makes me sad. But the benefits far outway the economic hardship we are going through right now. So if I can do better for my family I will! Well sorry for the book Enjoy the pictures. Thanksgiving and Kasey's 8th birthday.  It was a Hannah Montana theme hence the blonde wig from you know where! I'll have to do a separate post of new pics of Jonny B. "good"  LOL

Not moving!

So some craziness has gone on around here lately.  First we were moving. Now we are staying in Cedar.  I am no longer working at Primary Children's which I am a little sad about.  I really liked that job.  I am now working at Kolob Regional which I haven't decided yet if I like it yet or not.  Hopefully it is only transistional. I am still working to get my commission in the Air Force. I am waiting to here back and if the answer is "yes" then it's off to Alabama for 4 weeks for training then hopefully Travis AFB in California, first.  Here are a couple new pics of the kids.

Everything has been a bit crazy around here. Trying to move and get settled, starting a new job and commuting has been so busy. When we are up in Salt Lake we are so tired we just sit around and do nothing and when we get back to Cedar are days are so full we hardly sit for a minute without getting up again to go do something we forgot to do earlier. It's crazy but worth it and soon we will be settled in Salt Lake and then everything will slow down a bit. The kids are getting used to being without mom for three days in a row.

Kasey is up to 6 lost teeth and James is reading so well it blows me away everyday I listen to him. Jonathan is growing like a weed and is already wearing 3-6 months clothes. He sure likes his swing and he would rather be swinging in it than held most of the time. He still has a bit of torticullis in his neck and refuses to turn his head to the left have to do stretches with him and he hates it. He guards and fights us the whole time. I took him to the doctor about three weeks ago and he said that it's not bad enough to need physical therapy, but I was worried because his head is a little flat on his right side.

As for me I looooove my new job! the nurses are so great and It's such a joy to help make these sick babies feel a little better. Sometimes it's sad though. The babies are so sick and if I take care of a little baby that has dirtbag parents who don't care for their children.

Life Changes

Well we are gearing up to move to Salt Lake soon. I got my first nursing job at Primary Children's and I will most likely start next week. Jonathan had his two month check today and all is well. He is 11lb 4 oz and 23 1/2 inches. It puts him in the 75% for height. Not quite as tall as James was at this age but still tall for his age group. The kids seem excited to be moving somewhere else but we'll see as soon as we actually relocated how well they like it. I'm just excited to finally start my nursing career.
